WASHINGTON, District of Columbia.- In a statement today, 4TH District Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler reaffirmed her anti-abortion stance and voiced support for “March for Life” demonstrators. She also decried that pro-life marchers were banned from the earlier Women’s March this month.

“This week, I was proud to join a strong majority in the United States House of Representatives in voting to permanently ban federal funding of abortions. While I could not be in attendance for this year’s March for Life in Washington D.C., I was heartened to see on TV the hundreds of thousands stand together for life and march from the Mall to the Supreme Court.

I believe that all life is precious and a gift from the Almighty. While the Women’s March organizers banned pro-life women from participating last Saturday, no women were banned from this march. While many liberal elites wish to refer to pro-lifers as extremists, polling suggests that the majority of Americans support pro-life legislation.

It has been 44 years too long since the Supreme Court ruled. We must remain steadfast and advocate for those with no voice. While I applaud President Trump for moving swiftly in signing an executive order to end foreign aid for abortions, we cannot stop until the Supreme Court reverses course.

I am working hard to ensure that pro-life policies are adopted in Washington D.C. If you would like to help join this vital mission, please consider a small donation.”
