LAKE OF THE OZARKS, Missouri- The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout organization has announced one of the two fatalities in the Thursday Niangua Bridge crash is the daughter of one of their board members.

“Tragedy has struck our Shootout Family, our Board member Connie Weyer and her husband Dave have lost their beautiful daughter Jessica Brazil in a car accident this morning two of her children have been airlifted to Springfield one has been taken by ambulance. Please pray for their family and the children at this difficult time,” they posted.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Amber Metcalf, 32, of Versailles, Mo. and Jessica Brazil, 38, of Camdenton, Mo. were pronounced deceased and three children were seriously injured. The minors were in Brazil’s vehicle. Metcalf’s Chrysler Pacifica was going north on Highway 5 when it crossed over the center-line and crashed head-on into a Dodge Grand Caravan driven by Brazil, according to the patrol.

Arrangements for Jessica Brazil are incomplete at this time and will be announced by the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home in Camdenton.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol crash team responded to the incident.
