LEBANON, Missouri- Kenny Howe, president of Mt. Rose Memorial Park says the nationally acclaimed program “Wreaths Across America” will make its way here this Christmas season at Veterans’ Park at Mount Rose Memorial Park. They will be in Lebanon, December 16th.
“Holman-Howe Funeral Home along with Mount Rose Memorial Park is proud to sponsor this highly esteemed program which partners with local cemeteries to decorate the grave of every veteran within the cemetery with a beautiful Christmas Wreath”, stated Kenneth Howe, President of Mt. Rose Memorial Park.
The program has been endorsed locally by VFW Post 4107, The American Legion and Vietnam Veterans of America. The wreaths will be delivered by the national organization to Mount Rose Memorial Park and will be welcomed by a brief ceremony on Saturday December 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM. The public is invited to help disperse the wreaths throughout the cemetery. Wreaths will be placed on every veteran’s grave possible. Local residents are invited to donate the cost of a wreath in honor of a family member or in honor of a veteran who may not have family.
Howe says those wishing to make a donation, the cost of each wreath is $15.00 and can be dropped off at the office of Mount Rose Memorial Park which is located at Holman-Howe Funeral Home. Other corporate sponsors include Carmeco, Dr. Curtis Mather, Dr. Jeffrey Mutchler, First State Community Bank, Goforth Express, Mercy Hospital, Waterman & Associates and Willard Asphalt.
