FBI RAIDS music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs homes
Federal agents from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) executed search warrants on Monday at the homes of music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs in Los Angeles and Miami as part of an ongoing investigation into sex trafficking allegations.
The raids were conducted by the DHS’s Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) division, with assistance from HSI offices in Los Angeles, Miami, and local law enforcement partners.
The investigation is reportedly based out of New York and may be linked to a recent lawsuit filed by singer and former Combs’ girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, alleging sexual assault and sex trafficking.
Combs, a Grammy award-winning rapper, producer, and entertainment mogul, has not been formally charged with any crimes. His net worth was estimated at close to $1 billion by Forbes in 2022.
The raids have garnered significant attention, with tour buses bringing curious onlookers to Combs’ Holmby Hills mansion in Los Angeles.
Authorities have launched a human trafficking, sexual assault, and illegal narcotics and firearms investigation in New York. So far, three women and one man have been interviewed, and more interviews are planned. While it is not confirmed whether Sean “Diddy” Combs is the target of the investigation, there are connections between the allegations and recent lawsuits against him, his family, and his companies.
The allegations include sex trafficking, sexual abuse, harassment, firearm possession, and drug-related offenses. However, it is unclear whether these lawsuits are connected to the ongoing investigation. At the time of this report, no criminal charges have been filed, and it is uncertain if Combs has been detained or arrested. There are conflicting reports about his whereabouts, with some sources suggesting he was stopped at a Miami airport and others claiming his private jet was tracked to the Caribbean.
The investigation is ongoing, and more information will likely be revealed as the authorities continue their interviews and gather evidence.
According to recent reports, it is speculated that Diddy’s private jet was tracked to the Caribbean island of Antigua, but it is not confirmed if he was on board the flight.
