Dogwood Animal Shelter and Paws Paws Place receive funds from an Annual Christmas Fundraiser held at Casablanca Pub & Grill

Lake of the Ozarks MO

In December 2021, Casablanca Pub & Grill held their annual Christmas caroling sing-along, featuring local entertainer Cheryl Lynn. This was the second year patrons were invited to “fill a stocking” for local no kill animal shelters. The Brick family, owners of Casablanca, contributed money in addition to the generous cash donations collected throughout the evening. Dogwood Animal Shelter and Paws Place were again selected to receive the funds from the event.

The mission of Dogwood Animal Shelter is to provide care and shelter to the homeless pets of
the Lake Area community, to reduce their numbers through spay and neuter, to promote humane
treatment of all animals, and to enhance the human-animal bond. A check in the amount of $795
was presented at the organization’s shelter in Osage Beach on February 16th.

The mission of Paws Place is to rescue animals so that someday there will not be a need to.
During the journey, they continue to build a platform to educate, research and discover solutions
to end unnecessary euthanization of animals. A check in the amount of $795 was presented at the
organization’s thrift store in Camdenton on February 16th.

Brick brothers, Ryan and Mark, would like to thank everyone for their participation in raising
money in support of these very worthy organizations in the Lake Area community.
